Web based out of office updated
My Web based out of office manager application has now been updated with Exchange 2007 support. The WebDav interface has been de-emphasized in Exchange 2007 so the new version will make use of EWS if you’re lucky enough to be using Exchange 2007. You can find the new version here.

Hi Dave,
I managed to install the new OOO manager. But when I login, the Mailbox dropdown is not getting populated with the users. Am I doing something wrong. Could you please let me know if I need to change anything in “List_Users” function. Does this function work in all environments.
Thanks

I managed to get the users listed by removing the ‘msExchALObjectVersion > 0′ condition from the query. But I can only able to set OOO for myself when I login. Its just like using OWA. I am not able to set for other users. I have checked all the permissions. If I add FullAccess permission to myself on a different user mailbox using PowerGui, then I am able to set OOO for that user. Why doesn’t it work when I give full exchange and account operator permission.

Hi,
Sorry for taking so long to reply - My blog doesn’t seem to notify me when someone posts a comment if they provide their OpenID information so I’ve only just noticed the comment.
Which version(s) of Exchange are you using?
Cheers,
Dave

Dave, I am using Exchange 2007 with SP1 along with Edge Transport and UM role enabled as well. I am not sure if these extra roles affect any permissions.
Thanks

Sujeeth,
Are you able to login as a domain Administrator to the OOO admin and then successfully set the OOO status?
Does it correctly list the users with OOO enabled on the right hand side? - Or not?
Cheers,
Dave
